Transaction Processing and Durability with solidDB for MySQL
solidDB for MySQL has the first storage engine available that offers two different types of concurrency control mechanisms that are known as "pessimistic" and "optimistic." Both types offer multiversion concurrency control. In this talk, we will explain the basics of multiversion concurrency control, and the different mechanisms offered by solidDB for MySQL. Additionally, solidDB for MySQL offers two different types of durability levels. We’ll address the advantages, disadvantages, and differences between those levels.
